Guida’s Milk & Ice Cream receives numerous requests for donations every year.  Unfortunately, we must make difficult choices about where to concentrate our philanthropic efforts.  With this in mind, we have developed a fairly simple guideline to help us select from the many requests we receive each year.    Below you will find listed the criteria used to determine which organizations we will recognize as candidates for charitable giving:

• Colleges/universities/high schools and elementary schools
• Amateur athletic teams, e.g. Little League
• Fraternal, veterans or labor organizations
• Named charities or foundations
• Special events, e.g. fund-raisers, golf outings and dinners
• Religious organizations
• Current customer of Guida’s Milk & Ice Cream

Guida’s has an annual budget set aside for this purpose.   In the past we have been known to exceed this budget substantially.  Unfortunately, current economic instabilities force us to be a bit more selective when making our decision to give.  In lieu of monetary donations Guida’s prefers to donate its own high quality products.   Most often, milk, flavored milk(s), juice(s) and/or bottled water. 

Organizations may submit requests to Guida’s Milk & Ice Cream in writing. Your request must contain the following elements:

• The name of the organization, address, phone number and the name of a contact person.
• Date of function.
• Whether the organization will pick up or if a delivery is needed.  (We try to limit deliveries and encourage you to pick up at our facility.)
• Amount of product needed for your function. (Guida’s reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on certain products and will advise of this when you are notified of approval of your donation request.)
• If you have requested a donation before, please list the date in your request. (Guida’s limits donation requests to one (1) request per year.)

Please send all requests according to the specifications listed to the address below or fill out the form. No phone calls.  We ask that you allow at least 6 to 8 weeks for consideration of your request.  You will be notified by phone or in writing if we are able to donate to your organization.  As with other companies, Guida’s must limit its philanthropic activities and reserves the right to reasonably refuse any request.
