started his racing career at the young age of 8 years
old in 1/4 Midgets and had succsess with numerous wins.
Moving up to Mini-Sprints at the Whip City Raceway, Matt
had 1 win and many top 5 finishes. At age 14, Matt took
flight in the 600cc high-power wing class Sprint cars.
He had 1 win with numerous top 5 finishes. At age 16 Matt
got his drivers license and was cleared to drive in NASCAR's
open wheel division at Stafford Motor Speedway. |
Competing
in the SK Light's at Stafford, Matt had an impressive
3 wins in his first season, and many top 5 finishes. In 2008 Matt completed in his first full season in the
SK Modified Division at Waterford Speedbowl. Matt finished out the season 14th in the points standings and added another SK Feature win to his credit. Matt will be back again this year at Stafford Speedway dueling it out on the 1/2 Mile Oval. |
